Hype Level 11ty Billion

Not going to say much due to hype levels – but I played this game pen and paper growing up, it’s by the team that made The Witcher series, and hype levels are currently unhealthy.

Can’t wait. The merge of FPS and RPG in this early reveal looks well done.

I hate the hype train, so going to try and forget about this for a while. No release date yet.

I’m like the only person in the world who didn’t like The Witcher. I bought the 3rd game after the complete edition was available (and on sale). The controls were so damn wonky in combat that I just couldn’t get into it. Ditto titles like Red Dead Redemption that were universally loved and I couldn’t stand due to shitty control schemes.

I haven’t paid attention to this title as such, but I suppose if it’s FPS, I might dig it. I loved the Fallout series after it made that switch, so we’ll see.

I haven’t played any Witcher games past the tutorial – I received assassin of Kings in a bundle but struggled with the controls as well. No RDR here either. Didn’t have a console when it was hot. Cyberpunk looks like a far better shooter than the fallout series but still too soon to tell.

I’d say that’s due to Fallout being an RPG first and FPS second. Looks like Cyberpunk is the opposite

This does look really good! I like the mix of FPS and RPG generally and glad we are seeing more of it. But since there’s no release date I’ll try to keep cool like you’re done.
